Research Expeditions

Field research is currently in preparation. Formal research designs, methodology, and field notes will be published here.

How We Conduct Research

Every Janiform research expedition begins with a defined research question grounded in existing scholarship. We conduct a structured review of prior literature, documented findings, and identify gaps before any fieldwork is considered. Research is selected for its long-term contribution to knowledge, not its ability to generate headlines.

Each project proceeds through a formal research design process. Methods, expected outcomes, compliance requirements, and advisory consultation are documented before work begins. When applicable, we seek collaboration with credentialed specialists and relevant cultural stakeholders to ensure legal and ethical integrity.

All findings are documented transparently. Field notes, methodology summaries, and levels of uncertainty will be published alongside interpretive conclusions. Formal peer-reviewed publication is prioritized where appropriate. Our aim is not simply to report discoveries, but to show how knowledge is built.
